L'EFFET DEFEE formed in 2007 in Rennes, Bretagne, France. They are a quartet that uses the strange and exciting contrast of vocals (Maude TRUTET) and harp (Vinclane TRONSON) playing alongside the strong rhythmic drive of bass/guitar (Jean-Baptiste LEBRUN) and drum kit (Boris LOUVET). Vocalist TRUTET is the daughter of Jean-Paul TRUTET, formerly of the French band ELOHIM. The group enjoyed a high-profile gig opening for MAGMA for their 2009 tour, and the band's first album, Al Trop, was released in 2010.
