This was the first release by Le Knight Club. "Santa Claus" was on vinyl record with "Holiday on Ice" released in 1997 on the Crydamoure label. "Santa Claus" was later released as a remix by Paul Johnson. "Holiday on Ice" is rumored to be a remake of "Around the World" by Daft Punk, in which Guy-Manuel is one-half of the duo with Thomas Bangalter. It is speculated that Guy-Manuel had most of the influence on "Around the World", causing to see how "Holiday on Ice" has similarities to "Around the World".
