Gorilla Manor is the debut album by Los Angeles based band Local Natives. It was released on November 2, 2009, on Infectious Records (UK), and on February 16, 2010, by Frenchkiss Records (US). The album was produced by the band, in collaboration with Raymond Richards, and is titled after the house the band shares in Orange County, California, where most of the album was written. The album is characterized by soaring, sky-scraping harmonies, dreamy orchestral melodies, and throbbing tribal beats.

Local Natives (formerly cavil at rest) is an indie rock band based in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, CA, United States. After the three founding members originally met in high school, a bassist and a drummer were found, and they all moved to a house in Silver Lake in 2008 to record their album.
