“Grandpa’s Space Ship” is a skit that serves as the intro to Logic’s 2018 mixtape "Bobby Tarantino II". The skit features Rick and Morty of the eponymous TV show. Logic is an avid fan of the show, he even portrayed himself in one of its episodes. Additionally, he sported a Rick and Morty tee in the music video for “Overnight”. Logic used an animated version of the skit to announce "Bobby Tarantino II" on his social media, two days prior to its release: A similar cinematic intro was used by Logic on his 2015 album "The Incredible True Story" in the song “Contact.”
