History: M-Tank began in November 2008 when Jason Walter left Clemson, South Carolina and moved to Charleston, South Carolina. Walter had been a drummer in numerous "Kitten Scene" bands in the mid 2000s The Kitten Scene was Clemson's version of Athen's Elephant 6 scene in the early 1990s in that it was a relatively small group of musicians that played in each other's bands and recorded on each other's albums.
