Often mistaken as the "other version" of the album Madvillainy, or as "The Madvillain Bootleg", this is not an album, but a fan-made collection of demos for Madvillain, together with a song that is Madlib solo dating from his years in Lootpack (1998-2000). Madvillain's label Stones Throw has clarified that these songs were not compiled or titled by the artists, but by an unknown fan. These demos, minus the track called "Break of Dawn" were released on cassette as "The Madvillain Demos" in the deluxe box-set edition of Madvillainy 2
