Woodland Prattlers is the second album by Moscow progressive/symphonic metal band Mechanical Poet. Its quirky, whimsy music shows a strong Danny Elfman inspiration. The lyrics are based on folk tales and fantasy, with references to the books by Astrid Lindgren, Oscar Wilde, and the like. The songs tell the tales about the magic creatures of a deep forest. Woodland Prattlers was the last Mechanical Poet album to feature vocalist Maxim Samosvat of Эпидемия fame.
