Mum Locked In Castle formed late 2007 as students at the University of Hulls Scarborough campus. With nothing much to do in their first year they wrote their debut EP ‘Vultures’ and recorded it themselves with the Universities facilities. The band drew influences from bands such as Reuben, Incubus and The Mars Volta. And managed to get the latter bands art designer, Sonny Kay to design them a logo.
