NMB48 (short for Namba48) is a Japanese idol group and the 2nd sister group of AKB48. They have their own theater in the Yes-Namba Building in Namba, Osaka. The 1st generation members were announced on October 9, 2010 and debuted on March 21, 2011. The group belongs to Kyoraku Yoshimoto Holdings Co., Ltd., a joint corporation of Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. and Kyoraku Sangyo Co., Ltd.
