Nahvalr is an experimental black metal project spearheaded by Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga . Both of them have another project called Have a Nice Life. Nahvalr released their self-titled album in 2008 under Enemies List Home Recordings, a label founded by Dan Barrett himself. Released on CD . The album received mixed reviews as some complained about how much of the lower frequencies were removed. Making the album very lo-fi and all the instruments washed together. While others enjoyed this aspect of the album.
