Neglected Skies was a dark ambient project from Melbourne, Australia and consisted of one member who went under the name Neglect who at the time was 15 years old. The project was formed in July 2011 and was an amateur experiment with digital synthesizers and sounds. Numerous releases were done in a small period of time that were of inconsistent quality. The project would come to a halt in April 2012. In 2018, the musician behind Neglected Skies established black metal project Internal Purgatory which is described as "what I always wanted Neglected Skies to be".
