The album was released in 1985 and is credited as 'Nico and the Faction'. According to her then-keyboard player James Young, she was very unhappy about it and called the band not the 'Faction' but 'F*cktion'. 'My funny Valentine' is said to be included because Nico could not write enough songs herself and had to pick up a cover.

Nico (16 October 1938 – 18 July 1988) was a German model, actress, singer, and songwriter. She was born Christa Päffgen in Cologne, Germany. Nico started a successful career as a model in Berlin and Paris, studied acting at Lee Strasberg's New York Actor Studio.
