On March 5 2021, No Rome released 'Spinning', a collaboration with Charli XCX and fellow label-mates The 1975. The song features Charli (real name Charlotte Aitchinson) singing the majority of the main vocals, with one verse and backing vocals from Rome (real name Guendoline Rome Viray Gomez). The 1975's Matty Healy also provides backing vocals, with him and bandmate George Daniel working on production. This track came after a 'supergroup' containing the three acts being teased, and was released under copyright to Dirty Hit Records, as all of both No Rome and The 1975's previous available releases have.

No Rome collaborated with The 1975 on multiple occasions previous to the release of this song, including the song 'Narcissist' which featured on Rome's debut EP 'RIP Into Hisashi'. The name mentioned in the EP's title belongs to a Japanese abstract artist. Following this collaboration, Guendoline co-wrote the standout track 'Tonight (I Wish I Was Your Boy) ' from The 1975's fourth studio album, 'Notes On A Conditional Form'.
