"I Melt with You" is a song written and recorded by the British post-punk/new wave band Modern English. The song, produced by Hugh Jones, was a single from the band's 1982 album After the Snow, and is about a couple making love as nuclear bombs fall. The cover version by Nouvelle Vague was recorded for their 2004 self-titled debut. The version was played during the final scene and closing credits of the 2011 pilot episode of American TV sitcom Don't Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.
