It features on their debut album Definitely Maybe, on the "Whatever" single, On the Champagne Supernova single and on their best-of album, Stop the Clocks. Arguably the first Oasis love song, Noel wrote it about an imaginary teenage love affair. Originally known as the Rain, the group initially consisted of Liam Gallagher (lead vocals, tambourine), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass guitar) and Tony McCarroll (drums).
