Out Hud was an band formed in 1996 in the San Francisco Bay Area and later based in New York City. It disbanded in 2006. The band's members were guitarist Nic Offer, bassist Tyler Pope, cellist Molly Schnick, vocalist/drummer Phyllis Forbes, and mixer Justin Van Der Volgen. Pope, Offer, and Van Der Volgen are now members of the similar band !!!. Out Hud's first album, S.T.R.E.E.T. D.A.D., was purely instrumental.
