"The Wheel,” is the penultimate track on The Hope Six Demolition Project. "The Wheel" is most likely based on past events in Kosovo, as it makes references to a poem she wrote in her book The Hollow of the Hand. As well as the fact that 28,000 international troops were sent to invade Kosovo in 1990. The song features a call-and-response lyric about the disappearance of 28,000 people “lost upon a revolving wheel… of metal chairs”.
