Patrick Carroll was a singer-songwriter from Traverse City, Michigan. As a teenager, he fronted the locally-influential "emergency rock" band, Tanooki Suit. He later co-founded Blackwater Valley Songs, a collective of Traverse City musicians made up primarily of former members of Tanooki Suit, Semblance of Normalcy, and Bleak Hotel. Carroll then embarked on a solo career that culminated in the 2013 release of "Glow in the Dark," the result of years of work.
