“GNF (OKOKOK)” is Chicago rapper Polo G’s return to the Chicago drill style, featuring confident flows primarily on the topic of gang violence. In an Instagram post on February 2, 2021, Polo revealed the track’s release date, title, and cover art. It comes as his first release of 2021, following his September 2020 single, “Epidemic.” In the post, it was also revealed that the track’s music video would be directed by fellow Chicagoan Cole Bennett, who previously worked with Polo on his May 2020 hit “21” as well as Lil Durk’s May 2020 track “3 Headed Goat.”
