Wonderfully evocative free-tempo piece. A beautiful Bill Evans-esque meander across the piano accompanied by simple wooden wind-chimes. Wonderfully atmospheric. Always makes me want to cry at around the 3.45 mark. Thanks for making this available again after all these years

Rip Rig + Panic was a post-punk band, founded in Bristol in 1981. It was named after a jazz album of the same name by Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Its members included singer Neneh Cherry, Sean Oliver, Mark Springer, and Gareth Sager and Bruce Smith - the latter two formerly of The Pop Group. The group strayed from more conventional post-punk, mixing avant-garde elements with jazz and african influenced percussions and sounds. They were led by Cherry's innovative pop/soul singing style.
