Santa Ratniece (born in 1977) is a Latvian composer. She graduated J. Vitols Latvia Academy of Music in musicology (2000) and in composition (2002). At 2002 she was taking the composition studies with English composer David Rowland at Enschede Conservatory in Netherlands. In 2002 she began her Master's studies at Estonia Academy of Music and Theatre with Estonian composer Helena Tulve, in 2007 gained Master's Degree of Arts.
