The strenght of this self titled release is its distance from the everyday world. The songs drift effortlessly like the soundtrack to some ethereal dream. Being acoustically based, it's organic and light, as if blowing through the wind. And there is a late sixties psychedelic quality to the arrangements accounting for the buzzing noises flowing in the background. It's a difficult album to categorize. It draws on the beauty and sounds of past decades as if it wasn't created in the present time. I consider it similar to Panda Bear in the regard.
