"I Got You Babe" is a 1965 song by the American pop duo Sonny & Cher, written and produced by Sonny Bono, and the first single from their debut studio album Look at Us. It spent three weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, where it sold more than 1 million copies and was certified Gold. It also reached number 1 in the United Kingdom and Canada.
"I Got You Babe" has been frequently featured in film and television, including Sonny and Cher's own The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour. The song is perhaps most famously known for its repeated appearances in the 1993 movie Groundhog Day,
