excellent reflection of the Minneapolis "uptown" scene that all the tourist and thrill seekers coming to the city from suburbia just didn't get until this album. "Hang Time" was the album that paved the way. Collen McDermot is still in love with all the guys in the band.

Soul Asylum is an Americanalternative rock band formed in the summer of 1981 by Minneapolis high school friends Dan Murphy, Karl Mueller, and Dave Pirner.
