A droning, brief intro drops you quickly into a grooving offbeat, accented 6/8 metal riff which makes the verses roll, reminiscent of the feel of Motörhead and early NWOBHM styles, but asymmetrically and confusingly sliced to give it a twist. Cornell's single note vocals have an almost rapping accent, story telling of self denial and angst over the diesel powered mid tempo riffing.
