Remainder The Black Dog is the seventh/closing track on the first disc (titled Deform To Form A Star) on Steven Wilson's second solo album Grace For Drowning. Before the album came out it was made available for free download when subscribing to the KScope mailing list. A music video was also released. In September 2011 Wilson declared on his Facebook-page that Remainder The Black Dog is one of the 20 songs he's most proud of. Steven Wilson (born Steven John Wilson on November 3, 1967, in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England) is an English musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, most closely associated with the progressive rock genre.
