Swing! This one is raw and gritty like rock, but it still swings and sways. The vocal harmonies fill the holes left by a trio, making the trio sound like a sextet. The vocals are also reminiscent of Barbershop quartets. The tracks include some Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, and Hoagy Carmichael. And most importantly, this album is fun! It plays well both in the foreground and background. Buy it!
