For a while, the Chesterfields' charming, jolly guitar pop, was very much in vogue. They were formed in Yeovil, Somerset, England, in the summer of 1984, by David Goldsworthy (guitar/vocals), Simon Barber (bass/vocals) and Dominic Manns (drums).
