There are two bands under the same name. 1) The Maroons were a band from NYC that existed from 1978 to 1981. In 1979 they released the rare powerpop classic No Condition/Out Tonight 7″. They played all of the historic local clubs - CBGB, Max's Kansas City, The Ritz, Irving Plaza, Kenny's Castaways, Folk City. They received interest by a small (soon to be BIG) record company called Virgin Records, also A & M records was interested.
