#000000 & #FFFFFF is The Neighbourhood's first mixtape. The title is a hex color code which describes the colours black and white. This is the main theme of the mixtape as the album cover is also in black and white and throughout the album there are some references of the two colors. It was released on the 28th of November 2014 by Columbia Records and marks the band's approach to a hip hop mixtape.
