"For You" is a song by British pop rock band The Outfield. Like many of the group's best known songs, it is a romanticballad about a lost love. It was released in 1990 as the first and only single from the band's 1991 album 'Diamond Days'. "For You" was highly successful in the American charts. It hit #21 in the 'Adult Contemporary' chart, #13 in the 'Mainstream Rock' chart, and #21 in the 'Billboard Hot 100'. It was later included in the 1996 greatest hits album 'Big Innings: The Best of the Outfield'.

The Outfield was an arena rock-influenced British pop rock/power poppower trio based in the East End of London, England. Its members were bassist/singer Tony Lewis (1957–2020), guitarist/keyboardist and songwriter John Spinks (died 2014), and drummer Alan Jackman.
