The Sons of Adam were provided their new name by Kim Fowley record producer, and recording artist known for his hit song Alley Oop. The Sons of Adam musical direction shifted dramatically with the British Invasion and Beatlemania. The popularity of surf music waned and their style changed to a vocal based R&B Rock songs. A history of the "Sons of Adam" is published in Ugly Things Music Magazine No. 26 2008
