There are two bands that used the name The Throes 1. The Throes was an alternative rock band from Northern Virginia. The band formed in 1988 and its lineup revolved around singer/guitarist Bill Campbell and drummer Harry Evans. The Throes have released five albums: "The Era of Condolence" (1987), "All the Flowers Growing in Your Mother’s Eyes" (1990) , "Fall on Your World" (1992) , "12 Before 9" (1995), and "Ameroafriasiana" (1999). 2.
