The single, which sees the band’s sound develop and progress in a more post-punk, scuzzier direction, was produced by Tore Johanson (The Cardigans; Franz Ferdinand) at London Metropolis Studio. The song demonstrates a darker side to the band and is the first new material to be released since their highly acclaimed debut album A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation. As ever with The Wombats, the bleaker lyrical content is belied with hi-octane, effervescent music that has become so distinctive to their sound and imperative to their success in the past year.
