Tim Schou won the contest Danish Young Talent 2005 which led to the recording of A friend in London's first single, "Thoughts of a Boheme". He won with his band A friend in London the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2011 (National Final of Denmark) and became 5th in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
