Ashes is the fourth full-length album by Norwegian gothic metal band Tristania. The album was released on January 24, 2005 and registers a change in the band's musical style, leaving out the choirs, pure vocals of Vibeke Stene, and sounding heavier, both in instrumental and lyrical terms. This album introduced Kjetil Ingebrethsen for the growls, the tracklist shown here is from the promo album released at the end of 2004, the official release contains additional track Bird. The German/American version has a different cover art and a bonus track The Gate.
