The song has appeared on two of U2's concert releases. It is featured on Under a Blood Red Sky and Vertigo 2005: Live From Chicago. On both, it is preceded by "The Cry". Another live rendition is found on the remastered version of their album October. It debuted live in early 1980 and was a concert regular for the band's first four tours.
