Vitkovo kvarteto was found in 1982 in Prague, by Petr 'Grandpa' Mráz (lg), Jiří 'Uncle' Růžek (voc), Rosťa Hapl (voc, bg), Jan Šulc (ex-Žentour, voc, g) and Benjamin Vítek who contributed by his name name to the group name.
