The first music experience of Valentin Yakovlev from Saint-Petersburg was happened in 1991 when father brought him Casio synthesizer from foreign countries. It was bright green in colour and with a little frog in a front panel. Since then lots of time have passed and Valkir’s music has passed a long way too: from downtempo and trip-hop to experimental ambient and click’n’cuts with IDM as we can here in this album. Guitar samples and voice recordings sets off the vastly broken rhythms and roughly cutted melodies. The whole picture looks like frog, that suddenly became a mighty dinosaur.
