Wolves of Rain is the brain child of talented song writer Wolf-Arrow Rain. The band formed in 2005 originally known as The Black Swan. They began as a two piece, consisting of Brendan Kays on drums and Rain on guitar and vocals. In 2006 a new edition, Mathew Finlayson joined the band on bass. The group continued to play under this name for the following two years, in which they played alongside artists such as Dallas Frasca, Collin Burgess (Masters Apprentices), Ash Grunwald, The Green Mist and more.
