Based off of the Commodore 64 (among other systems) game, Lazy Jones (the original track is called Stardust), Kernkraft 400 is Zombie Nation's most recognizable tune, this version remixed with "stadium vocals." A real thriller and classic. Many sports events use it as a hype-up tune at the beginning of matches to psyche the crowd and get them ready for the game.

Zombie Nation is a German techno and electro project of the Munich based DJ and producer Florian Senfter (aka Splank!). Until 1999Emanuel Guenther (aka Mooner) was also involved in the project. The first Zombie Nation five track EP was released in the spring of 1999 on DJ Hell's label, International DeeJay Gigolo Records. The debut release contained the unsuspecting song Kernkraft 400, which was based on part of David Whittaker's music from the 1984 Commodore 64 game Lazy Jones.
