He’s also performed this song at many of his shows, saying how he’s “going to drop it tonight” but never did, which got fans consistently asking d4vd to release it. Since then, this song has been re-recorded and sounds ‘extremely’ better than the original. Then on September 5th, 2023, he released the track list for “The Lost Petals,” which included “Rehab” dropping with the EP on September 8th, 2023.
