Stigmathe was an italian punk band form in 1979, it was influenced by the post punk of such bands like Killing Joke, PIL, Joy Division, with dark and intense lyrics singed in italian.From 1982 till 1983 Fabri (voice) turned into more extreme music and the songs became more political, minimal, rough and aggressive, more hardcore, sometimes mixed with reggae. The rest of the band was not interested in the change of sound so they split up.
