Aleś Žura — is one of the first belarusan bagpipers of modern generation. Together with masters Aleś Łoś (Алесь Лось) and Todar Kaškurevič (Тодар Кашкурэвіч) they started to meet and play traditional belarusan bagpipes (called "duda") together in 1990. In 1991, Ihar Michno added his knowledge of Belarusan, Latvian and Lithuanian traditional dances, thus starting the tradition of dance parties accompanied by bagpipes, which took place in different cities of Belarus.
