Chancellor Gee (born Maya Vyacheslavovna Kotovskaya, June 24, 1979, Sverdlovsk, USSR) is a Russian singer-songwriter and founder of the band *Bregand D’Ért*. Classically trained in piano, she studied journalism and medieval history at Ural State University but left academia to pursue music, self-teaching guitar by 2000.
