The band named СтиХ (pronouncing S-T-I-H) was formed in the town of Chekhov, Moscow region, Russia in September of 2004 when band founders Yura 'Choo-Ree-Choo' ChooReign (formerly known as simply Yuri Chursin) and Victor DJ Pooso Dr. Gore (formerly known as Victor Galushin) agreed on the name of their musical project.
