Joseph Cheng(鄭元暢 or 郑元畅), nicknamed 小綜(Xiǎo Zōng) by his father, began his career with the Catwalk Model Agency. His acting career began when he starred in the Taiwanese series The Rose(蔷薇之恋) with the famous Taiwanese girl pop group S.H.E. in 2003. In the following year he took main leads in two other Taiwanese series Nine Ball(撞球小子) and Magic Ring(爱情魔戒). Most people recognize him from It Started With a Kiss(恶作剧之吻), a Taiwanese series adapted from the Japanese manga Itazura Na Kiss.
