Joan Malé's alter ego, 5alad encompasses various styles, from indietronica to dance floor. Using sounds inspired by 8 bit computers, distorted synths, 4x4 kicks, electro beats and obsolete speech synths,5ALAD creates a mosaic of styles that were originally showcased at the Sonar Festival in 2006, creating his own visuals sinchronizing today's sequencers with old 8 bit computers programmed in BASIC.
