Action Daddy was a noise rock band based in New York City that played from 1996 to 2004. Members of the original incarnation also played with Crash Worship, Cherokee Sex Workshop, Gorgon, Johnny Skilsaw and Wisdom Tooth. A latter electronica incarnation incorporated hand-built midi instruments, junkyard percussion, beatboxing and video sampling, with collaborators including Sporangia, Abstinence and Kid Lucky. Since 2003, Action Daddy founder Sam Zimmerman has performed with Psychic TV.
