Afasi & Filthy was a Swedish Hip-Hop duo composed of the rapper Afasi and producer Filthy from Uppsala, Sweden.
They met in elementary school, and became class mates in sixth grade. Since they shared the same taste for music they became close friends, and also started making their own music. This started in ninth grade, and in the fall of 2001 Filthy released his first mixtape, and a year after this the first cassette came, "Snus, Porr & Brännvin" (Snuff, Porn & Snaps).

Based on this radio success, the duo signed a contract with BMG, releasing the single "Bomfalleralla". But after disagreements, they broke the contract with BMG in Spring 2005 preferring to work independently. Their first single on their own label was "Le Parkour" followed by the EP Jag kunde inte bry mig mindre.
Albums Skruvat & choppat av Afasi in 2006 and Hotell Stress were released, the latter in 2 separate volumes in 2006 and 2007.
Fläcken ("The Spot" or "The Stain") is the band's critically acclaimed final album under the duo name that also won a Swedish Grammy in 2009.

The duo continued under the name Afasi & Filthy until 2009.
Afasi decided to join Maskinen. Afasi also eventually became part of another singing duo Ansiktet.
Filthy continued with a successful producing and songwriting career, most notably writing "Cupid Boy" for Kylie Minogue and co-wrote and produced two songs for Britney Spears; "How I Roll" and "Trip To Your Heart".
